Joseph Hoo, Vice President, General Bearing Corporation

Joseph Hoo is the vice president of advanced technology and China affairs at the General Bearing Corporation, and spearheaded its expansion into China beginning in 1987. A metallurgist by training, he has been working in the steel bearing business for over 50 years.

Hoo, who was born in China in 1934, is a graduate of the National University of Japan, where he received his BS in Engineering. He is also a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received his MSE in Metallurgy and Engineering.
